Futures Young Parent Program

Support for pregnant and parenting youth ages 15-19 to help them graduate from high school and parent successfully.  Includes individualized programs, career and personal counselling, academic support, family management and life skills and links to other community services and programs.

REAL Program

Alternative school for youth on probation. Program includes individualized academic instruction, recreation, and life skill development. By referral only through Youth Probation, SD#33, or through Youth Services. Funded by MCFD in partnership with School District 33.

Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS)

We provide immigrant families and students with information, services and resources to successfully integrate into the community and school.

The Breakfast Club (ages 18-24)

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00pm.  For youth and young adults to receive continuous support as they transition from adolescence to adulthood.  The program serves a hot breakfast while discussing topics such as financial literacy, housekeeping, tenant behavior, employment skills, resume building, health and hygiene, and healthy relationships. Open referral, 7 days a week.

Youth Leadership Development (Grades 5-12)

For grades 5-12, YLD is a safe, fun, comfortable environment where you can build self esteem, lifelong friendships & develop strong leadership skills. Activities include team building, social events, volunteer opportunities, fundraising & Youth Conference weekend. Registration required.

Youth Support

Provides support to vulnerable youth ages 13 to 18 through life skills training, anger management groups, employment preparation, housing advocacy, mentorship, referrals to addiction and mental health services. Offers drop in services including access to Food Bank Hampers, free clothing, toiletries, shower and laundry facilities. Provides direct, one to one, support and services to youth living in The Village Youth Residential Program, including planning for transition to independent living. Funded by MCFD.
