CARE TEAM / Collaborative Practice Orientation
Chilliwack CYC and MCFD are sponsoring a Care Teaming / Collaborative Practice training day. Participants will review the common constructs and principles of effective collaborative practice. There is a brief review of current collaborative practices with a focus on when and why Care teaming would be the best collaborative method chosen for the client. Participants will observe a full 45 minute ICM/Care team meeting and analysis its effectiveness using two comprehensive work sheets. The day will involve in depth analysis of the mechanisms that can be used to maximize collaborative outcomes and increased child and family outcomes. The training day also provides important networking activities to enhance collaborative practice within the community.
