Unemployed and looking for work? The YMCA Youth Works program in Chilliwack can help! If you’re between 15-29 years old, eligible to work in BC, not attending school, & not in receipt of EI benefits, then we would like to hear from you!

The YMCA Youth Works program helps youth gain the confidence, skills and experience to secure and maintain employment. This FREE job readiness program offers one-on-one support with experienced career advisors, job search and training such as First Aid, WHMIS, Food Safe, Forklift etc. and work placements that include mentorship. Other benefits of this program include transportation and food support as well as a 6 month YMCA membership.

The YMCA is actively recruiting for our next intake and hosting Information Sessions at the Chilliwack Family YMCA (45584 Hocking Ave).

All applicants must attend an Information Session or meet with a Program staff member in order to complete the application and interview process.

Basic Eligibility criteria:
· Between 15 and 29 years old

· Unemployed and non-eligible for EI benefits
