The Daycare is a safe, community-based early education environment for children ages 0-6 years old. We are a family centered daycare offering three unique programs for the children. Each unique program offers quality services and care.
The goal of each program is to offer positive, developmentally appropriate opportunities for children to learn and grow through experiences and encounters in their environment. The Centre provides early learning activities and materials in which support and foster social, emotional, physical and cogitative development. Our program provides a nutritious meal each day for the children. We offer three developmentally appropriate programs for the children:
- 0-18 months – Ye Stíteqóye (Little wolves) Program
- 19-35 months – Smímeyáth (Butterfly) Program
- 3-5 year olds – Spáth (Bear) Program

This program assists mothers in making positive lifestyle changes, helps mothers achieve a better understanding of their familial and community roles. Stó:lo cultures and traditions are incorporated.

Fraser Valley Aboriginal Children and Family Services Society (FVACFSS) provides culturally appropriate and holistic services through prevention, community development and child welfare programs to Aboriginal children, youth and their families residing on and off reserve throughout the Fraser Valley.
FVACFSS operates with a central office located in Chilliwack and regional offices in Abbotsford, Agassiz, Langley and Mission.

Sq’eqo Mi Tselhxwelmexw “Families Coming Together”
Our program provides caring, creative and holistic services in which Aboriginal families with children ages 0-6 years may attend. Expectant parents are welcome to join us. This program provides free transportation, a nutritious meal and early learning activities. We offer a variety of services such as:

- Circle time
- Story telling
- Creative exploration
- Support Services
- Social Networking
- Guest speakers

Sessions are offered for both 3 and 4 year olds. This preschool class in an emergent program that blends the Halq’eméylem language, Stó:lo culture and traditional teachings with mainstream early childhood education. The sessions offer a well-balanced blend of culturally rich programing that encourages the young learner to prepare for Kindergarten. Free transportation is available

Aboriginal Infant Development Program is primarily a home based service for infants 0-3 who may have or are at risk of developing a delay socially, cognitively, emotionally or physically. AIDP provides support to families to monitor overall development of their children and connect them with needed resources. This program falls under Stó:lo Health Services, which serves Aboriginal families both on and off reserve in the Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack areas.

Aboriginal Supported Child Development Program provides support and consultation to families of children ages 3 – 12 in their Early Childhood settings. There needs to be a delay or suspected delay in one of the areas and the child needs to either be enrolled in a licensed ECE setting or looking for childcare. This program falls under Stó:lo Health Services, which serves Aboriginal families both on and off reserve in the Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack areas.

Stó:lo Nation Health Services has a nurse practitioner available Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Health services include birth control and sex education for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. Location is Building 7, 7201 Vedder Road.
