What: Mental Health Literacy and Suicide Prevention training and facilitation from Fred Chou and Youth and Parents with personal experience and knowledge

Come join us for a morning workshop focused on education about mental health and suicide prevention. Individuals (parents and youth) with personal experience will be sharing their knowledge and expertise. Fred Chou, MA, Canadian Certified Counsellor, and coordinator of Youth As Gatekeepers, will be facilitating and providing suicide prevention training based on the ASK-ASSESS-ACT model.
This workshop is an opportunity for community members, families, and parents to gain knowledge and feel confident in understanding mental health and how to help prevent suicide in the community. Please click on Mental Health Literacy for more information.
