April 18, 6pm – 8pm at the Chilliwack Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
The goal of the Transition & Resource Fair is to provide Youth with Special Needs and their families with information on Education, Community Services, Health, Housing, Transportation, Recreation, Employers and Job related services and programs that are available to assist them in planning for their future. The target demographic for the fair is middle school to secondary school – 12?18 years of age ? and will also be open to adults with developmental disabilities. Agencies are invited to participate. We look forward to the information, knowledge and opportunities that you make available to the attendees. To show our appreciation for your willingness to participate, refreshments and pizza will be provided to all agencies, employers, vendors, local businesspeople, and service providers. As well the committee will compile a directory of all the service agencies information for every attendee/family.
