Building Healthy Relationships, Course number 2, Handling Conflict is being offered Friday Night Oct 13 and Saturday Oct 14 at the NLC with leadership from Mike Ayers. This stand-alone brief workshop will acquaint couples with the relationship research of Dr. John Gottman from the University of Washington, Seattle and his “love lab” . Gottman claims that from watching a 15 minute video of a couple talking he can predict with 95% accuracy which couples will divorce within 5 years. The course offers insights into skills and knowledge people in intimate relationships can use to improve and preserve the best parts of their relationship.
