Many children in our city have been affected by divorce and struggle through it without a safe place to process through the emotions surrounding it. DC4K is a twelve week faith-based program designed to help children grades 1-6 work through the hurt and confusion of divorce.
Kristjana Einarsdottir and her exceptional team of volunteers consider it a privilege to run the Divorce Care For Kids program. Kristjana has worked for a number of years with families in crisis in our city but this program is the first opportunity she has had to combine her training and experience with her faith in Jesus Christ. Her passion is to teach kids that God loves all our families, has created them special and is there to help them walk through this difficult season of life. She is confident that this program is going to have a profound and significant impact on families and on our community.
