CYC Meeting Days

The CYC meets from 9am to 11am (8:30am coffee and social time).

Early Years Sub-Committee

The Early Years Meetings are from 1:00-3:00pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through June.

Bookworm Friends – Reading with Children

Chilliwack Learning Society fosters literacy and supports mental wellness by connecting children with adult volunteers for weekly reading sessions—whether one-on-one, in small groups, or within classrooms and daycare settings, in-person or online.

This free program promotes consistent, positive interactions that strengthen literacy skills while building emotional resilience, confidence, and a sense of connection. Through shared reading experiences, children are invited into stories that spark imagination, expand understanding, and offer safe pathways for emotional exploration and growth.

You can apply for your child/children to join or apply as a volunteer using the links provided.

Middle Years/Youth Matters Subcommittees

Meetings take place the 4^th Monday of every month from 3pm-4pm on Microsoft Teams.

*Note: There is no meeting in December.
