The Building Healthy Relationships (BHR) couples program will be offering its 3rd course Friday night April 13th and all day Saturday April 14th at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre (NLC) Chilliwack Secondary. The 3rd course is based on the research and work of Dr. Susan Johnson and her book Hold Me Tight: Conversations for Connection. The unique feature of BHR courses is the addition of MA level interns to coach couples in skill development while keeping emotional intensity appropriate to a learning environment. BHR courses are not therapy, but instead focus on providing couples with research based knowledge and tools for improving their relationship. Presenters will be Charlaine Robinson, clinician from CYMH –MCFD and Mike Ayers, Senior Therapist with Ann Davis Transition Services. Couples can registered online at the Ann Davis Transition Service website under “programs” or by calling Samantha Hilliard at 604 792 2760 or shilliard@anndavis.org
