The Youth Outreach Addictions Counsellor is a member of a decentralized team (each worker is assigned a catchment area) that provides alcohol and drug individual support and treatment services to young people (aged 13 – 24, with emphasis on 13 – 18) residing in the catchment area.  Their primary role is to engage in one-to-one counselling.  In some instances, the counsellor may be required to organize and facilitate groups.
