World Suicide Prevention Day
ONE WORLD CONNECTED
World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on September 10 every year to provide worldwide commitment & action to prevent suicides.
Collaboratively, Aboriginal Child & Youth Mental Health, MCFD, FVACFSS (Fraser Valley Aboriginal Child & Family Services Society), Fraser Health Aboriginal Health, Stó:l? Nation, Stó:l? Nation Health, Stó:l? Nation ASCRT (Aboriginal Suicide Crisis Response Program) The Chilliwack Hospice Society and VYPER (Valley Youth Partnership for Engagement & Respect) want to invite you to this year’s WSPD event. This year’s theme is “Suicide Prevention: One World Connected”.
This year Stó:l? Nation will be the host location, 7201 Vedder Road, follow the yellow balloons. The event will be held on September 10, 2014 from 2pm—6pm. There will be a cycling, walking, dinner, a workshop, an information table, drumming & singing and other activities.
